Yes. Angile inverters (both single-phase and three-phase) support battery-free installation, allowing them to be used initially as pure PV inverters. Users can then flexibly add batteries later based on their load consumption. The system also supports expanding the capacity of an existing battery setup. For example, a system with a 10kW inverter + 10kWh battery can later be expanded to 20kWh. Note: When mixing new and old batteries, you must ensure that the State of Charge (SOC) and battery voltage are consistent; otherwise, system stability and battery life may be affected.
No. Angile products require a Wi-Fi internet connection to receive software updates and communicate with the monitoring platform for energy tracking. A reliable connection is necessary to provide new product features over time. While the Angile system can continue to generate and operate normally if the internet connection is temporarily interrupted, you will be unable to monitor or maintain the device's operating status. Therefore, installation in locations without internet access is not recommended.
